About 905 Fest

A Free Festival Built on Music, Community & Real Connection

905 Fest isn’t just another summer event; it’s a celebration of local talent, culture, and everything that makes the 905 beat with its own rhythm. Set in the heart of Hamilton at Bayfront Park, 905 Fest brings together live hip-hop, food trucks, vendors, and community groups for a full day of music, movement, and good vibes.

This festival started with a simple idea: to give local artists a stage and the community a space to come together—free of charge, and full of energy. Founded by Kevin “Ktriggs” Williamson, and powered by a small crew that believes in community over competition, 905 Fest has grown into one of Hamilton’s most anticipated grassroots festivals.

Kevin’s story runs deep. He grew up facing tough circumstances and had to find his own way through. Along the way, he found support through city programs like Living Rock Ministries—resources that helped him stay on track when things got hard. Now, he’s a strong advocate for young people, using 905 Fest to show that help is out there and that no one has to face it alone.

Every detail of the festival from the artist lineup to the food trucks, games, and outreach booths is designed to reflect the heart of the city and the people who call it home. This is a platform for artists to be seen and heard, a space for families to gather and connect, and a spotlight for the small businesses and organizations doing real work in our community.

What keeps it running? People like you. Artists, volunteers, vendors, partners, and supporters who believe in the power of local. Every dollar raised through partnerships goes directly into programming, promotion, and keeping the event free and accessible for all.

Whether you’re looking to perform, partner, volunteer, or just show up and take it all in—905 Fest is built for you. Come be part of something real. Come make some noise for the 905.

Community Impact

905 Fest isn’t just about what happens on stage, it’s about what happens around it.

Over the years, the festival has become a hub for more than just music. We’ve welcomed hundreds of volunteers, connected young people with local services, and partnered with organizations like Living Rock to collect food donations and raise awareness for youth support programs right here in Hamilton.

Local artists have used 905 Fest as a launchpad building new fanbases, landing gigs, and gaining confidence by performing in front of their own community. Small businesses and vendors have tapped into new audiences. And every summer, families and friends gather in the park, making memories without worrying about the cost.

Every tent, every speaker, every shared moment reflects something bigger than a one-day event. 905 Fest is proof of what can happen when music, purpose, and community come together.
